About Thinkcube
The Company
Every SME has a few computers and are increasingly acquiring low cost broadband connectivity. With the advent of wireless technologies, most of those SMEs are also able to set up networks with file and printer sharing. Yet when it comes to productivity tools such as email, chat, calendering and contact management, there is a huge barrier to acquiring and deploying such technologies. Collaboration technologies tend to be very expensive with high per user licensing costs and harder to configure, deploy and manage for ordinary users.
THINKCube Systems Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2006 to develop a Collaboration Server product targeted at Small, Medium Enterprises (SME) by leveraging on existing Open Source Technologies. It was Co-founded by Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, Mr. Buddhika Siddhisena and Mr. Lakmal Warusawithana whom with their wealth of experience in the IT industry saw the need for an inexpensive, easy to manage Collaboration platform. THINKCube Collaboration is designed primarily for the non technical user who wants to go about setting up his or her company.
THINKCube launched its Collaboration product and has it was successfully deployed in few locations. THINKCube provides IT consultancy services in related Open Source Technologies.
