Scalability at an affordable price is crucial for a Telco environment to succeed in providing secure Cloud Computing services to its customers. If a virtualized cloud server can only accommodate just a few hundred simultaneous instances then such a solution does not make business sense.

thinkCube has put in many hours into R&D to come up with our unique Multi-tenant virtualzation platform that brings cost effective scalability to Cloud Computing so it is viable for a Telco environment. When compared with traditional virtualization based solutions, our solution is able to achieve an unprecedented scalability without compromising on security or flexibility. As a result, applications that run on the thinkCube Platform will provide a much lower “per customer” deployment cost that can lead to “game changing” pricing offerings by the Telco to its customers.

At the heart of the thinkCube platform, lies a host of services such as Single-Signon and Unified Accounts which provides an integrated feel to applications. Our platform is able to virtualize almost any LAMP Application with no modifications to run in a secure multi-tenant environment. Our platform is built on top of a solid Open Source Software foundation consisting of the underlying Linux OS layer to standards based web services and application stack. What this means for our customer is that our platform benefits from improvements made by a wider community of which we too are a part of.

But having a comprehensive platform is worthless if it is unusable! On the other hand a platform that is highly usable in the beginning but lacks flexibility will result in an unsatisfactory experience. TakeControl is our approach to strike this delicate balance between flexibility and usability by putting the customer in control. TakeControl provides the customer with the ability to manage their users and take control by delegating operational activities.

TakeControl Virtual Manager (TCVM) is the complimentary interface similar to TakeControl which provides the Telco the ability to manage operations such as packaging, customer management, reporting and provisioning. TCVM also provides an API which enable integration with Telcos’ OSS/BSS systems.
