THINKCube Platform
The ThinkCube platform is a Cloud Computing platform which uses Multitenancy Virtualization to achieve an unprecedented scalability not found in traditional vistualization based solutions. As a result, Applications developed on top of the THINKCube Platform will provide ISPs with a much lower cost per customer deployment that can lead to “game changing” pricing scenarios.
At the lower level, the THINKCube platform provides services such as Single-Signon and Unified Accounts which provides an integrated feel among applications. All of these services are running on top of a solid Open Source Linux Operating System foundation.
At the top most level of the platform lies the ISP’s control panel known as TakeControl Virtual Manager (TCVM). This provides ISPs with the ability to easily define packages that bundle features along with resource allocations and provision a customer. TCVM also provides an API to integrate with ISPs internal systems such as authentication or account database.
The features are carefully selected from some of the best of breed Open Source applications and modified to enhance the overall integrated feel.
Takecontrol lies at the top layer enabling the customer to take control of the system in a user-friendly flexible interface. For example a user can grant a feature such as File Sharing to a user by simply enabling a on/off switch. They can further customize the feature by defining feature specific settings such as file sharing disk quota for the file share feature.
